The 2016 carnival festivities in Saint Martin started yesterday with the traditional children's parade.
As every year, hundreds of children from nursery and primary schools in Saint-Martin paraded through the streets of Marigot, wearing the costumes they made themselves, to the delight of parents and the many tourists present for the event.
Congratulations also to all the schools that have competed in imagination and ingenuity to prepare and decorate the floats present along the way.
