The association Carnivalesques de Saint-Martin (FCDSM) last Saturday unveiled the entertainment program for the 2017 edition at the CCISM.
The carnival will kick off on February 4 at 19 p.m. on the seafront at Marigot, in the presence of the officials. The next day, children will parade on the theme of treats in the streets of the city center from 15 p.m. The vice-president of the association Claudine Mingau underlined during the press point "the implication of the members of the committee" who are "volunteers for 5 years". Until March 1, the population will have the opportunity to attend various parades, contests, concerts and shows at the Carnival Village, in Galisbay. The provisional budget for this event amounts to 262.900 euros, according to the treasurer of the association Alex Pierre. _EH
