Last Thursday was held the 1st meeting of art Thursdays organized by SM'Art Faxinfo in its Bellevue gallery with the artist Florence Poirier Nkpa who was able to present a set of works created before and during the recent confinement
We could sum up her work by taking up the quote from Pessoa, which she particularly likes: "We have conditioned ourselves to believe that man is an entity independent of nature which imposes itself on all others by believing that it is the only one to master her own destiny. It's just a hypothesis… maybe? ”
At 18 p.m. the artist unveiled his main work, which was greatly appreciated by the many audiences. Florence Poirier Nkpa was able to answer various questions from the assembly, in particular about her new engraving technique and her inspiration.
His works will remain on display in the SM'Art Faxinfo gallery until Monday, July 27. Opening hours: 8:30 am-17:30pm.
