The Terres Basses Owners Association communicates:
By a court decision, the illegal operation of a business located at Baie Rouge Beach was terminated, on land belonging to the Association des Terres Basses.
By order of the Public Prosecutor's Office, the eviction took place on Sunday August 19 and the material seized was sealed by the Justice.
The Association des Terres Basses, owner of the land, had the spoils of the materials resulting from the destruction of the illegal constructions cleaned and removed.
For safety reasons related to the demolition works, access to the beach parking lot was temporarily prohibited to vehicles, but access to pedestrians was left free.
Once the work was completed, access to the parking lot was made free as well as access to the beach which was never prohibited.
Remember that access to the beaches of the Terres Basses private domain: Baie Longue - Baie aux Prunes - Baie Rouge has always been authorized.
