The verdict fell for the traders of the sea inn. On Monday, December 17, the administrative court rejected the request to suspend the building demolition work requested by the traders in summary proceedings. Subject to an endangerment order issued by the president of the COM, the building is supposed to be destroyed.
Work resumed on Tuesday on the first half of the building while traders continue their activity on the other side of the gates.
One week before Christmas, and in the midst of the tourist season, they say they are "annoyed". “We expected that an expert would be appointed to check the condition of the building,” they explain. They live and work day to day, not knowing where they will go if they are ultimately deported.
