The 2nd edition of the “Well-being Day” took place on Saturday December 15 at Plénitude. The public was able to discover the island's wellness therapists who led workshops, conferences and presentations throughout the day.

Discovered care, personal development advice and initiation to well-being practices were there to introduce the public concerned with living more serenely the methods to achieve this.

The public was able to learn a multitude of activities thanks to many qualified speakers: Dance of the movement of life with Marie Leclève, bioenergy / geobiology with Stéphanie Souhaité, accupressure and shiatsu massages with Fabienne Deparis, foot reflexology with Carole Berhault , astrology / oracle with Martine Josserand, sports advice with Nathalie Michallon and Caroline Brouard, lithotherapy with Isabelle Quinon, naturopathy and yoga with Virginie Sécher, sophrology with Isabelle Le Sénechal, Qi qong with Sandrine Pecot and energy release techniques with Aurélie N'Da .

A succulent vegetarian buffet with fresh fruit and vegetable juices and fermented drinks was offered to the public with vegetarian cooking workshops and demonstrations of well-being recipes led by Chloé Dubois.

We also note the presence of Audrey Barbes, activist pacifist ecologist very involved in the cleaning of the island via the association Clean St Martin. She presented the “Zero waste movement” movement and raised public awareness of the importance of reducing household waste and using hygiene and cleaning products that are not harmful to health and the environment. We highlight the important work carried out by his association, which is illustrated by the 9 tonnes of waste collected during a cleaning operation at the pond in Friar's Bay.

It also offered the public a range of eco-friendly cleaning products (especially solid shampoos and deodorants).

A very beautiful day filled with positive waves which will allow the participants to adopt simple and effective techniques to improve their well-being and their quality of life.
