On the night of last Wednesday, the National Assembly adopted the organic bill on consultation concerning the accession to full sovereignty of New Caledonia. "This project aims to allow the greatest number of Caledonians (…) to be exempt from all steps to be registered on the special electoral lists to, then, participate in the consultation on the accession of New Caledonia to the full sovereignty which must intervene at the latest in November 2018 ”, reports the government.
