Early childhood: eleven compulsory vaccines

0

Prime Minister Edouard Philippe announced concrete health measures during his general policy speech to the National Assembly. From 2018, eleven vaccines for early childhood will be mandatory. “Diseases that were believed to be eradicated are developing again in our territory. Children are dying of measles today in France. In Pasteur's homeland, this is not admissible ”, mentioned Edouard Philippe. Today, only three childhood vaccines are compulsory: diphtheria, tetanus and polio. This decision of the Prime Minister is in line with the reflections of the Minister of Health, Agnès Buzyn. The latter had indeed recently announced that it was considering making certain vaccines compulsory within a limited time.
