Frantz Gumbs who had presented himself without a label but under the nuance of various centers in the legislative elections, chose to join the political group of the Democrats (MoDem and independents) in the National Assembly.
This group is one of the eleven that comprise this XVIth legislature. It is made up of 48 deputies and chaired by Jean-Paul Mattei, deputy for Pyrénées Atlantique.
In addition, Frantz Gumbs is a member of a single commission, that of cultural affairs and education chaired by Agnès Firmin Le Bodo, deputy for Seine-Maritime.
