All member countries of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (OTC) celebrate for thirty days the month of Caribbean tourism. The opportunity for the director of the Saint-Martin Tourist Office, Aïda Weinum, to highlight the tourist assets offered by the “Friendly Island”.
"This month of November is an excellent opportunity to present the Caribbean to the whole world and to illustrate the spirit of solidarity which characterizes the Caribbean actors", underlines the director of the Tourist Office of Saint-Martin, Aïda Weinum, before to add: “These thirty days offer us the opportunity to reflect on our model to generate new energy, to present original methods and innovative products.
New ideas to attract new customers
We must take up the double challenge of constantly renewing our offer and preserving our setting, keeping the balance between our tourist assets and the well-being of our population. We must preserve our resources and our fragile ecosystem if we want it to remain attractive for long. Ecotourism is a major axis of development.
The island of Saint-Martin is a jewel, thanks to concerted efforts, we can guarantee lasting positive effects for our community and all its members. We salute all our partners for their direct or indirect contribution, their hospitality and attachment to our land.
