The agreement between the Collectivity, National Education and the Tourist Office, signed in 2013, was renewed last Tuesday during a ceremony at the vocational college of the Northern Islands, in Concordia.

“This renewal is part of the framework where Saint-Martin joined the Association of Caribbean States, and wants to join the OECS (Organization of Eastern Caribbean States). Tourism is at the economic level the first development of this territory ”, declared the president of the Collectivity. Speaking to the rector of the Academy of Guadeloupe, Camille Galap, Aline Hanson added that “it is a real partnership, a challenge for the academic success of the students”. The President of the Tourist Office, Jeanne Rogers-Vanterpool, also spoke: "When this industry is well managed, it generates substantial income and sustainable jobs." _EH
