To date, there are no longer any patients carrying the Covid-19 virus admitted to the Louis-Constant Fleming hospital center. By cons there is still a Saint-Martinois hospitalized in Martinique. The day before, on the Dutch side, five patients were still hospitalized. Since the start of the health crisis, a maximum of 13 residents have been hospitalized at the same time, including 8 in Philipsburg, 2 in Marigot and 3 in Guadeloupe. A total of 26 people have been hospitalized on the island since the start of the crisis.

Part French

Since the start of the crisis, a total of 11 people contaminated with Covid-19 have been admitted to the Louis-Constant Fleming hospital, almost two-thirds of them during week 2 of the crisis (March 23-29). The last admission was on April 12 and the last discharge on April 29.

At the height of the crisis, up to 7 patients were hospitalized at the same time in Marigot; this happened four times (twice on two consecutive days). The most delicate period was between March 29 and April 6 with between 6 and 7 hospitalized patients. However, this represented less than half of the hospital's reception capacity, a capacity which was around fifteen beds reserved for Covid-19 patients.

After April 6, the number of patients treated in Saint-Martin varied between 3 and 1 until the last discharge on April 29.

Six Saint-Martinois were evacuated directly or after a stay at the CH de Marigot in Guadeloupe; one of them was transported from Guadeloupe to Martinique.

All establishments combined, a maximum of 9 Saint-Martinois were hospitalized at the same time, on March 29: 7 in Saint-Martin and 2 in Guadeloupe.

Partly Dutch

Since the start of the crisis, 15 residents of the Dutch side have been hospitalized at the Sint Maarten Medical Center in Philipsburg. Between mid-April and early May, between 7 and 8 people were taken care of at the same time. (soualigapost.com)
