Minister dhe Health of Sint Maarten announced 26 new cases on Saturday evening. The day before, the prefecture indicated 109 cumulative cases against 78 a week earlier. It also confirmed the death of two new people due to covid-19. Since the start of the crisis, 5 people have died partly French (including 2 last week) and 17 partly Dutch.
The number of people hospitalized on August 15 is 11 on the island: 2 partly French and 9 partly Dutch.
2 PCR tests were carried out in part French and 321 in part Dutch within the population, to which must be added the 1 carried out at Juliana airport on passengers who arrived with a test that does not correspond to the standards requested by the authoritieslocal.
