A young female detection session (13 to 17 years old) was held on December 19 and 20, at the college in Quartier d'Orléans, with the aim of detecting new talents.

The technical staff, made up of the president of the Development Pole, Jean-Luc Lezin, his collaborators, MM LEGRAS Franck, PIERRE Jeff accompanied by Mrs. COUDEN Anbarl, BPJEPS trainee gave tests to nineteen candidates.

Twelve girls were selected to join the “Phenix Academy” volleyball center. These young volleyball players will begin a long physical, technical and tactical preparation in terms of the game from January 2016.

The sports season in general begins with the launch of the indoor championship. Potentials are summoned following club visits and during matches.

For more than a year, the Galisbay gymnasium has been closed for renovation, we have been doing our best to contribute to the emancipation of this sport.

In Saint-Martin, their potential is real.

As proof, during the last two seasons, a girl joined the Pôle France junior and two girls, the Pôle Espoir cadettes.

Shantel Duru, passing through Saint-Martin, agreed to be the godmother of this internship.

Aged 15, she knew how to establish herself as a titular player in her new club in France. Nothing like it to motivate the contenders.

Despite the limited resources, the Volleyball League of the Northern Islands obtains significant results and it can be proud of it.

Glad to have also learned that Amandha Sylves, junior category, will join the France junior team soon. A sporting success that opens the way for other girls.

Filled President of the Development Pole (editor's note: Jean-Luc Lezin), “I thank my entire technical team, the parents and the children for their confidence.

We wish everyone a happy holiday season ”.

New challenges will be faced during 2016. _AF
