Inter-Leagues Internship
The Phoenix Academy of Volleyball of the LVBIN recently moved to the stronghold of Rayon in Petite Anse, district of Anse d'Arlet. This club has been awarded by the Martinique Olympic Committee as the best sports club in all disciplines.
For Saint-Martin, this unprecedented course is part of the preparation for the upcoming Caribbean competitions, with the desire to share their knowledge with young Martinique volleyball players, aged 13 to 17. Indeed, the objective is to set up a more experienced selection to compete with the Metropolis. Technical improvement and friendly meetings against senior ladies were thus on the program during the internship.
For the two presidents of the technical committee, Ms. BELIZAIRE Vanessa (Martinique) and Mr. LEZIN Jean-Luc (Saint-Martin), this cooperation opens up good prospects in order to boost a new dynamic in the French West Indies area. For this, a mixed selection called "Saintinique" (the merger of Saint-Martin - Martinique) was formed and behaved very well against the seniors. Bodes well for the rest of the events ... _AF
