The Kids Gym club organized, on February 12, the 4th edition of its internal championship. The club, created by Claire Brunel in 2011, is located in Hope Estate, between Grand-Case and Orient Bay, and also offers lessons in Concordia and partly in the Dutch gymnasium at Cay Hill.
We were able to watch around a hundred young gymnasts aged 6 to 14 years old. Each group was formed by age group and level in order to balance the results and to be able to give everyone a chance.
All the children gave their best under the watchful eye of the many parents and friends present. The frequent applause and shouts of joy gave a real atmosphere to this competition.
Animation stands and a refreshment bar perfectly complemented the organization and contributed to the good-natured atmosphere that prevailed throughout the day.
We can tell by looking at the smiling faces of the children and parents that this event was once again a success and we look forward to the next edition. Although it is an important moment in the life of the club, the work does not stop at this event. Some gymnasts have been preparing for several weeks for a team competition to be held in Guadeloupe in early April.
In order to enable them to make this trip in the best conditions, the Gym Enfants club is organizing a big raffle with many prizes, the most important of which will be a weekend in St-Barth.
Come in large numbers to support our young gymnasts who will carry the colors of Saint Martin loud and clear! _AF
