GG, aged thirty-one, was brought before the criminal court on Wednesday for immediate appearance for property damage, home invasion and violence against his ex-partner at her home.
Early Sunday, November 24, VC called the gendarmes to tell them that GG was hurting her ”, that he had entered her home. When they arrived, the gendarmes noted that the door had been forced, that the lamp which was behind the window had fallen and broken. VC explains that GG tried to open the window which caused the object to fall. Absent from the scene, GG will be arrested later.
During his oral argument, the lawyer for GG Maître Barreiro, who regretted the absence of the victim at trial because he had "several technical questions" to ask him, set out to dismantle the young woman's version. “My client dropped off his girlfriend at 5 am in Philipsburg. Time to exchange a few words and a kiss, he leaves at 5:05 am to go home. Even though traffic is fluid at this time of day, it takes at least 15 minutes to get to Concordia. However, the victim told the gendarmes that my client tried to go home at 5:15 am. It is therefore not possible. My client indicates that when he got home, he called his girlfriend at 5:38 am on video to say that he was home, it coincides, ”he said.
GG has already been sentenced three times, including twice for violence on VC. According to the prosecution, on Wednesday, he "manipulates the court". It requires a sentence of twelve months' imprisonment, a ban on staying near the place of residence of VC and a deposit warrant.
