Last Thursday, AQ a 32-year-old man was heard by the court for acts of violence with a knife and death threats with a machete on a 16-year-old minor.
The facts alleged against AQ date back to November 23, 2014, following tensions between his two neighbors (JP the victim and his girlfriend) for several months. According to witnesses, AQ allegedly "stung" the young JP twice with a knife and hit him on the head with a machete. The lawyer for the civil party in her pleadings claims € 6000 in damages with regard to the trauma suffered by the minor and € 2000 for procedural costs. The vice-prosecutor for his part requires in particular a six-month suspended prison sentence. AQ, found guilty of the facts, was sentenced by the court to six months suspended prison sentence, accompanied by a two-year probation period with compulsory care. He will also have to compensate the victim up to 1000 euros for non-pecuniary damage and 1000 € for procedural costs. _KL
