Looting: The prohibition to practice required by the prosecution for a pharmacist

0

On September 23, 2017, P. PG, pharmacist in Marigot, was at the Galisbay service station when he ran into ON director of Laborex, a wholesaler in pharmaceutical products. ON then realizes that PP-G's vehicle is filled with boxes of medicines. PP-G returns from the Laborex warehouse where he stole 12 boxes, for damage estimated at more than 105 euros. ON asked him to return this material and PP-G complies. But ON's vehicle is too small to recover everything, so he asks PP-G to follow him to his warehouse, located in Hope Estate. On the way, O. N warns the gendarmes who stop PP-G on his arrival. Summoned to theft before the Saint Martin Criminal Court this Thursday, March 25, 000, the sixty-year-old considers that he has been authorized to use the warehouse. He also admits having made four round trips between September 1 and 2018.

The deputy prosecutor requested a four-month prison sentence and a two-year professional ban. The defense lawyer regrets that the gendarmes who came to collect his client from his home on September 18, were not questioned by the investigators. "You finally accuse him of having complied with the gendarmes' request to follow them" he exclaims before asking for the release. The court will deliver its deliberations on April 12.
