The Minister in charge of integration, Brigitte Klinkert, officially confirmed the financial support of the State for the functioning of the future local mission of Saint-Martin.
In order to start the work as quickly as possible, the Collectivity wanted to organize a first working meeting yesterday aimed at preparing the creation of this new structure dedicated to young people.
Sofia Carti-Codrington represented President Daniel Gibbs at this first meeting in her capacity as 3rd Vice President in charge of the Education, Vocational Training, Employment and Inclusion portfolio.
The local Mission having for objective to centralize the means of the communities, the State and the partner organizations, the Collectivity of Saint-Martin requested a first working meeting with the services of the State, in the presence of Pôle Emploi, in the goal of jointly identifying the steps to be taken in view of the installation of this new structure.
