Alessandra Fiorillo and Isabelle Canonici, painters and lifelong friends, combine their talent in a duo exhibition which will take place until January 11 at the Outlet store in the center of Marigot.
If painting is a relatively recent experience for Isabelle, who has only been handling brushes for three years, Alessandra has been juggling different drawing and painting techniques for more than 26 years.
The meeting of these two women is as beautiful as their bond. Alessandra being an interpreter for the gendarmerie and in court and Isabelle being a clerk, their friendship was quickly linked around their common passion, namely painting. Alessandra was quickly touched by the serenity that emanated from the paintings of Isabelle, who painted in an almost therapeutic process. She therefore did not miss the opportunity to offer the latter to exhibit together, a new exercise for Isabelle unlike Alessandra who formerly had her own art gallery ... within the Outlet store where is currently taking place the exhibition “Having the soul to paint”.
