The delivery of 70 diplomas attesting to the training in the first road education to the pupils of the CM2 classes of the Emile Choisy primary school, comes to close the 2021 training of the 8 primary schools of Saint-Martin.
It should be noted the presence of Andy Armongon representing the Vice Rectorate and Sonia Fleming, famous Poetess Saint-Martinoise, who delighted the audience at the reading of a poem related to road safety and the youth of Saint-Martin. .
Thus, during the year 2021, the road safety association SXM, reinforced by the teachers of the classes visited, intervened with 1200 students in the CE2, CM1 and CM2 classes of public primary schools in the territory. The latter were able to benefit from 8 hours of theoretical and practical training.
This action is firmly in line with the road risk reduction policy, initiated by the Prefecture of Saint-Barthélemy / Saint-Martin and the Collectivity of Saint-Martin as part of the city policy.
We can bet that this road safety training for the youngest of the Saint-Martin population will bend the curve of road traffic accidents, bodily and fatal on our Island.
