Community president Daniel Gibbs held his first press conference since his election at the Hôtel de la Collectivité last Wednesday, in the presence of his 1st vice-president Valérie Damaseau.
The President returned to various points at the start of his mandate and briefly to the decisions of the last Executive Council. The opportunity for Mr. Gibbs to present to the press Valérie Damaseau who is also spokesperson for this new government with Jean-Sébastien Hamlet. The vice-president is responsible for culture, sport, youth and community life, also delegated to district councils and president of the Tourist Office. Daniel Gibbs recalled that he is not president of any pole: “I preferred to delegate and trust my elected officials.”_EH
