Jean Arnell, the president of the CCISM, unveiled last Thursday to the press the 1st edition of the “Overseas Company Code”, at the Maison des Entreprises, in Concordia.
“This is a collection of all the national codes that apply to overseas territories”, indicates Jean Arnell, specifying that this code - an initiative of the association of overseas CCIs - allows you to quickly see how national laws affect these territories. “It is a code that covers the reality of economic actors. (…) It is a bedside book, a working tool for all those who advise companies ”, adds Jean-Marc Dufetel, chartered accountant. The work published by LexisNexis - which will be constantly updated - is available at the CCISM. The presentation of this code was made on February 18 in the Senate.
