A thousand people attended the Health, Sport, and Culture Expo at the Raoul Illidge Sports Complex in Sint Maarten

On August 27, the Department of Sports and Culture of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports of Sint Maarten in collaboration with Nagico Insurance organized the "Health, Sport, and Culture Expo" at Philipsburg Sports Complex. 

This first edition focused on health, sport and culture, which started at 7 a.m. until 15:30 p.m., was a great success. 

More than 1.000 people participated in extracurricular activities dedicated to children and adults. About fifty sports, cultural and health organizations were represented there to present their program of activities, open registrations for them and offer the public the opportunity to participate in various and varied demonstrations, including free screenings and food tastings. healthy and balanced. Capoeira, yoga, salsa, zumba classes, wellness assessments, meditation, “art & craft” artistic creation workshop, sports trail, basketball, baseball, boxing, ju-jitsu, football, volleyball, fitness and bodybuilding, initiations to walking on stilts, horses, musical instruments, dancing, there was something for everyone, young and old alike greatly appreciated the first edition of this beautiful event. 

Note the presence of the Honorable Silveria Elfrieda Jacobs, Prime Minister of Sint Maarten, who participated in the obstacle course organized by the Sint Maarten police (KPSM). _VX
