Couple and their child violently assaulted at Sandy-Ground

1

At around 18:15 p.m. last Friday, a couple and their 11-year-old child were the victims of a violent assault at Sandy-Ground. The worst has been avoided !

As they were driving towards Nettlé Bay, they had an argument with the driver of a scooter at the cemetery roundabout. This same individual, visibly more than annoyed, then blocked them just after the Sandy-Ground bridge, before throwing a large stone at the rear window of their car. The child in the back seat received broken glass and suffered minor leg injuries. The worst was avoided, the projectile having passed very close to the face of the young teenager.

While the vehicle was stationary, a second individual arrived and violently hit the mother of the child who was in the front.

Panicked, her husband set off with a bang to escape their attackers before alerting the gendarmerie. A device was immediately put in place, to no avail.

Three days after the events, the victims are still shocked by this violent and gratuitous attack, there is something! Their hearings were taken Sunday afternoon at the Gendarmerie brigade.

According to our information, the mother of the child still has neck pain and consulted a doctor yesterday afternoon. _AF
