Hiking: At the “Family Trail”, trees are also planted with the help of Dream of Trail and the Loterie Farm!

The Family Trail, organized every Friday by Dream Of Trail, is a hike of approximately 1h30, open to all and especially to children accompanied by their families. Each week, the members of Dream of Trail guide them in the paths of Saint-Martin, wishing to show the beauty and diversity of the island's hikes and share their love of nature.

It is therefore natural that on Friday, December 4, the Loterie Farm invited the Family Trail to come and collect small mango plants. It was a different Family Trail but even closer to nature with around sixty people, half of whom were children.

It was really very nice to see the children all very attentive when BJ, (the owner of the Loterie Farm) explained to them how to dig up the small mango trees and put them back in the little pots we had provided them. And especially to see their face when they understood the importance of planting a tree.

The atmosphere was very cheerful and then, about an hour later, the children were able to bring them over 60 feet home to replant them on the island.

Of course, the day ended with a lovely stroll through Loterie Farm grounds.
