The territory of Saint-Martin now has two CFA or apprenticeship training centers. The first is hosted by the Northern Islands High School and the second has just opened at Hope Estate. It was created by the Fore Iles du Nord (IDN) training center.

A CFA is a certified body that provides theoretical education in a center and practical education in a company; the objective is to train young people aged between 16 and 30 in a profession and that this training corresponds to the real needs of companies. To do this, Fore IDN has defined, with the help of Pôle Emploi, five programs according to the needs expressed by business leaders in Saint-Martin. Young people from Saint-Martin will thus be trained in the professions of sales assistant, sales advisor, restaurant waiter, cleaning and hygiene agent, building maintenance agent. "If a company has another need, we will set up the desired training", specifies Manon Bisson, training manager.

Fore IDN has decided to open a CFA to expand its training offers and services to companies but also to people looking for a job. The apprenticeship contract allows young people to alternate theory and practice while enjoying the same rights as other employees of the company. He is paid each month and obtains a diploma (from CAP to master) or a professional title while having professional experience in his field. For a company, hiring an apprentice is also interesting because the young person is trained within it and it benefits between 5 (minor apprentices) and 000 euros (adult apprentices) in aid from the State according to the latest measures. put in place by the government.

Depending on the needs at the end of these sessions, Fore IDN will renew them or offer training for other professions. (soualigapost.com)
