The latest health reports on both sides of the island show three new deaths: two partly Dutch and one partly French. Part Dutch, they occurred on July 30 and August 26, they are people registered as residents in part Dutch but who lived in part French. "The uncertainty as to their residence has caused a delay in the declaration of their death", specifies the government of Sint Maarten.

The third death is that of a 76-year-old Saint-Martinois with comorbidities who had been admitted to the CHU de Guadeloupe.

In total, 19 people died partly Dutch and 6 partly French. 6 patients are hospitalized partly Dutch and 18 partly French including 3 in intensive care in Guadeloupe.

The number of active cases is 153 partly French and 222 partly Dutch. Since the start of the crisis, 239 people have contracted the virus in part French and 482 in part Dutch, respectively 79 and 241 have been declared cured.
