A 41-year-old Saint-Martinois was tried by the criminal court for repeat offenses under the immediate appearance procedure last Friday.
He was suspected by OCTRIS and the gendarmerie of again organizing a traffic in cannabis. TS, 41, was arrested in connection with a legal operation on March 6. Just over 1,1 kg of cannabis was discovered at his home in Sandy Ground. The gendarmes also seized packaging equipment, several scales and more than 2 euros and dollars. After deliberation, the court imposed a sentence of four years in prison, including one year suspended sentence and his continued detention.
