CR 32, was summoned Thursday February 28 to the criminal court of Saint Martin for breach of trust, and breach of domicile. She had been given the keys to a luxury villa to come and clean it, whether or not there were occupants. In the evening of February 1, 2017, while the owners are in mainland France, a neighbor phones them to inform them that she sees light in the villa. They call the gendarmes who go on the spot and discover the cleaning lady and her friend in a bed. In its hearings, CR acknowledges having entered the villa several times not to work but to take advantage of the premises. However, she denies having stolen objects, as accused by the owners who adduce no evidence.
The latter, also absent at the hearing, took legal action and claimed 12 euros in damages, as well as 647 euros under article 76-2000.
The court acquitted CR for the facts of violation of domicile but declared it guilty of the surplus and condemned it to 1500 euros of fine. He also received the constitution of civil party of the victims and condemns CR to pay them 1000 euros of damages and 1000 euros more under article 475-1. (source: www.soualigapost.com)
