Marigot works: creation of a compensation commission

0

The work to renew the pipelines in Marigot was discussed during the last Territorial Council. “They lasted four months and the Community is aware of the impact on trade,” said Community President Aline Hanson. The elected officials adopted the deliberation on the creation of an amicable compensation commission common to the COM and the Saint-Martin Water and Sanitation Establishment (EEASM). The objective of this device is “to quantify the damage and define the amount of aid that will be granted to affected companies”, according to the president. This initiative, launched by Vice-President Wendel Cocks following the grumbling of traders, will ultimately not concern the operators of carbets in Orient Bay. _EH
