The Service des Transporteurs de la Collectivity de Saint-Martin, in collaboration with the partners of the CARE unit and the CCISM, has started a vast operation to raise awareness among freight transporters who must subscribe to the obligations relating to the regular exercise of their activity. .
Although trained in the professional ability to transport goods, carriers must regularize their situation:
– Complete the registration formalities at the CCISM
– Register in the register of goods carriers of the Collectivity
The inventory carried out on the situation of the carriers of goods, in activity or wishing to better structure their company, makes it possible from now on to pass to the second stage which consists in bringing together the carriers to inform them and help them to carry out the formalities obligatory with the transport of goods. The Collectivity and its partners support them in their regularization process.
• An information meeting will be held on Tuesday June 21, 2022 at 18 p.m. at the CCISM.
An Open Day will be organized on Tuesday, June 28 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 19 p.m. at the CCISM to help capacity holders to regularize their file.
Only people already trained in the professional ability to transport goods are concerned by these meetings.
Capacity holders are asked to bring the certificate of professional capacity for the transport of goods which was given to them by the Collectivity at the end of their training.
