On December 13, 2016, the Executive Council approved the award of the project management contract for the development of the Galisbay / Savane link to the company SEGIC Engineering. The contract was awarded over a period of thirty-six months and its amount was 601 euros; however, this is not the construction cost of this link, which is € 150 million.
This project is part of the road master plan adopted by the Collectivity in 2015. “It should double the link between Marigot and Savane to respond to the many recurring traffic problems on this section of the RN7, the most responsible for the territory ”, indicates the diagram. “In particular, it must serve the commercial port of Galisbay.
