Aquathlon: More than 60 students took up the challenge!

A USEP Aquathlon was organized last Wednesday on the beach of Grand-Case by the USEP Northern Islands coordination association under the leadership of sector delegate Baptiste Pérez.

More than 60 children from different public schools on the island met in Grand-Case for this activity involving 50 meters of swimming and 200 meters of running. Teachers and parents were numerous to supervise and support our young athletes.

This inclusive meeting, with the participation of students from the ULIS system at Soualiga College, concludes the "know-how to swim" learning cycles of cycle 3 (CM2).

The organizers would like to thank for the prizes offered to the children: Quiksilver Saint-Martin, the Sky's the limit and Olympia pizza restaurants, the community Sports department (Paul Dinane) and the Saint-Martin Extreme Runners club.

Many thanks also to parents and teachers.

The appointment is already made next year for the 2nd edition!
