Air transport: Air Caraïbes adapts the check-in deadline for its transatlantic flights for summer 2018

Air Caraïbes, a Caribbean airline specializing in the Caribbean, announces the modification of the cut-off time for its transatlantic flights, set at 1:30 a.m. for the summer period from June 18 to September 09, 2018.

Applied to the entire transatlantic network, this measure aims to facilitate all stages of passenger travel from their arrival at the airport until the plane takes off.

The check-in time limit (HLE) thus changes to 1:30 before the departure time of the airline's transatlantic flights, compared to 1 hour outside the summer period.

From Orly South Airport, the company's travelers can now check in directly from the self-service kiosks and use the automatic baggage drop-offs made available by Paris Aéroport. Passengers with an electronic ticket can also check in online on the company's website from 48 hours to 1 hour 30 minutes before their flight departure.

The aim of these provisions is to regulate the queues and long waiting times at the airport as well as possible during major holiday departures.

4 times to remember to travel serenely:

• The recording start time:

4 hours before flight departure.

• Check-in deadline: 1h30 before the departure of the flight for this summer. Beyond that, travelers will no longer be able to check in or drop off their luggage.

• Boarding time: after check-in, travelers are invited to go directly to the departure lounge. Access to the plane will be guaranteed up to 30 minutes before the flight's departure.

• Flight departure time: as it appears on the boarding pass.

The company supports its customers to prepare their trip step by step in peace. For more information, visit the airline's website at www.aircaraibes.com.
