According to the TendanCiel monthly report from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) for the month of September 2016, the links affecting the Overseas have increased by 4,5%, compared to September 2015. The line Fort-de-France / Pointe-à-Pitre “remains one of the most dynamic services on the domestic market” with an increase of 16,3%. In August, this same line posted a 17,5% increase.
As for air traffic in mainland France, it increased slightly by 1,4% according to the published data. At the end of the third quarter, the growth in the number of travelers stood at 2,3%. The report also takes stock of the delays: “September returns to values almost identical to those of 2015: the rate of flights delayed on departure more than a quarter of an hour reached 21,4% (or +0,3 point); the average delay of departing flights is 12,2 minutes (or +0,2 minutes). ” _EH
