Since the passage of Hurricane Irma on September 6 and the signing of the “MOU” between the French side and the Dutch side, the very first reception of the European press took place by the Tourist Office of Saint-Martin.
On May 15, the Saint-Martin Tourist Office offered a tour of the island to four journalists from Belgium (“Weekend Knack”) and the Netherlands (“Telegraaf & VRIJ Magazine”, “We Are Travelers ”,“ Reishonger ”) to take stock of the destination and the progress in terms of reconstruction. This is an opportunity for the Tourist Office to promote its attractiveness and show the beauty of its beaches, the Lottery Farm and the various activities that are offered and possible on the “Friendly Island”.
