The Kayak and Paddle race organized by the Collectivity of Saint-Martin as part of the pretty month of Europe will finally take place in Grand Case, on Saturday May 26, 2018, the start has been postponed to 15 p.m.
Due to the omnipresent presence of Sargassum algae in the bay of Cul de Sac, the Collectivity is forced to relocate its kayak race initially planned to Pinel to transfer it to Grand-Case. Thus the race of the pretty month of Europe joins the festivities planned by the festival of the sea and organized by the association Métimer on the beach of Grand-Case.
The kayak and paddle race is therefore maintained on Saturday, May 26 with a race start scheduled for 15 p.m. on the beach at Grand-Case. The deadline for registrations is extended to 12 noon on Saturday, always with Caribbean paddling on 0690 22 03 22 (possibility of registering with your own equipment), or directly on site in one of the stands set up on Grand- Plage. Case. This event is free and open to everyone. Children are welcome. By participating in the quiz on Europe organized at the end of the races, you will win nice gifts! The nice month of Europe is a national device for coordinating events in commemoration of the Europe Day, May 09. The Quiz (questionnaire) on Europe will allow you to better understand the European Union and its contribution to the economic, social and environmental development of the territory of Saint Martin.
