The Caribbean Society of Hotel Association Executives (CSHAE) is an independent organization created by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) to encourage leaders of hotel and tourism associations to exchange and network.

The CHTA thus offers its members the opportunity to benefit from the experience of colleagues from other islands and other tourism associations, the aim being to develop the professionalism of hotel managers.

The Association of Hoteliers of Saint-Martin represented by its representative Véronique Legris was present during the general assembly of the CSHAE which was held in Jamaica from January 26th to 28th. Also represented were Trinidad, Belize, the Bahamas, Dominica, Aruba, Turks and Caicos, Barbados, the US Virgin Islands.

Training has been provided. During these meetings, the directors were able to discuss their work, on various issues, and share information on their marketing and sales strategy.

The incentives were focused around a single product: the Caribbean islands. An expert advisor from CHTA was in charge of training on marketing and management techniques for hotel associations.
