Establishment of a protocol with hoteliers and seasonal rental companies to welcome international tourists *

In the presence of the President of the Collectivity, Daniel Gibbs, the Director of the ARS of the Northern Islands and the President of the Tourism Club, the Prefect Sylvie Feucher presented last Thursday the tripartite State / ARS / host agreement in order to allow the reception of international tourists, partly French.

Tourists whose PCR tests exceed 72 hours or whose antigen tests exceed 48 hours, will be invited to take an additional antigen test. This test can be carried out since Saturday November 28 at the drive of Hope Estate by the teams of the Red Cross. This replaces the existing system at Friar's Bay.

In order to set up this procedure for welcoming tourists, accommodation providers (hoteliers and seasonal rental companies, Guest Houses, RBNB) must agree individually. They are invited to come forward via the functional box follows-covid@saint-barth-saint-martin.gouv.fr in order to be supported by the services of the Prefecture and the ARS.

Only accommodation providers who have signed an agreement will be able to welcome international tourists.

This approach is important for the resumption of economic activity on the island and the Prefecture invites everyone to mobilize around this new protocol.
