Following the resignation of Prime Minister William Marlin, Governor Eugene Holiday last month asked Sarah Wescot-Williams to finalize the composition of the interim government which will work until the next election in February and the formation of the next one in April . Sarah Wescot-Williams thus made on January 12 the list of women and men she foresaw.
The following are thus appointed: Leona Marlin-Romeo, Prime Minister and Minister of General Affairs; Cornelius Deweever, Minister of Justice; Michael Ferrier, Minister of Finance; Jorien Wuite, Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports; Miklos Gitterson, Minister of Housing, Planning, Environment and Infrastructure; Emil Lee, Minister of Health, Social Development and Labor; Hassani Ellis, Minister Plenipotentiary.
Please note that Cornelius Deweever is also Minister of Tourism, the Economy, Transport and Telecommunications while appointing this position.
Leona Marlin-Romeo was sworn in at 10 a.m. on Monday.
