Next December 15, the Association "La Belle Espérance" will give heart to the inhabitants of Sandy-Ground with the opening of the Christmas village.

A traditional meal will be offered to the elderly and people with reduced mobility. A stand will welcome Santa Claus who will distribute gifts to the children. Several stands will be made available to professionals for the sale of meals, for the crafts of Saint-Martin, an early stand to prepare Christmas properly, another podium for a "Chanté Nwel" with local groups and one finally a stand to welcome the various local associations.

The network of La Belle Espérance (note: the Association was created in 2015 in Le Moule in (Guadeloupe) quickly grew since the day after Irma, the first families came to drop off the first food and clothes to help the inhabitants of St -Barthélemy and Saint-Martin.

Many volunteers also quickly came forward to bring their arms, their time, their good will and good ideas to organize the distribution of the food collected.

Thus, La Belle Espérance collected, sorted, stored, packed, transported, loaded and unloaded tons of essential food items intended for priority:

- To families on site, with children, without children, to couples still deprived of any help, to the elderly ...

- To families arrived in Guadeloupe who needed help, accommodation, clothing, food.

Around La Belle Espérance a network has been created which has made it possible to reference a certain number of Guadeloupe families ready to receive returnees in order to accompany and help them.

See you now on December 15 at Sandy-Ground for the inauguration of the Christmas village!_AF
