The INOVIE Biopôle Antilles Group informs the population of Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy of the suspension of the national strike of medical biology laboratories, from Wednesday January 11, 2023.
This movement, which had been renewed at the initiative of all the unions in the sector with the support of the main groups and networks of national laboratories (Biogroup, Cerba, Heathcare, Eurofins, Inovie, LBI, Synlab and Unilabs) – all united within the Alliance de la Biologie Médicale – will be lifted following the latest discussions with the CNAM and the Ministry of Health, which guarantee a serene resumption of negotiations during the first half of 2023 in order to jointly decide on the orientations for 2024 -2026. After several weeks of arm wrestling, the government finally acted, for the year 2023, the economy plan conceded by the profession, but still leaves doubts hanging over the years to come. Medical biology laboratories are ready to participate in any discussions that may lead to a concerted objective, but will remain vigilant to decisions that could weaken local health. All of the INOVIE Biopôle Antilles laboratories have reopened their doors from Wednesday 11 January and will be able to welcome their patients during their usual opening hours.
