The members of the Lions Club Oualichi have been busy during the last month of the year by organizing several actions in favor of the most vulnerable people, for the Telethon as well as for hospitalized patients.
Thus on Saturday, December 3, the Lions Club Oualichi mobilized for the 2022 Telethon by setting up the "Pakers Boys and Girls for the Telethon" action, which consists of supervising middle school students offering to put customers' shopping in bags in exchange for 1€/1$. All of the money raised was donated to the AFM Téléthon, which fights against neuromuscular diseases and brings out new therapeutic strategies.
On December 16, the members of the Oualichi Lions Club visited the psychiatric ward of the Louis-Constant Fleming hospital as they do every year to offer a Christmas meal to the hospitalized persons as well as to the staff. A moment of sharing appreciated by all.
Finally, on Friday, December 30, 2022, it was at the premises of the Saint-Martin Red Cross located in Concordia that the Lions Club Oualichi intervened in favor of the most disadvantaged.
