The funding of social action in Saint-Martin, in a few figures

250 euros: this is the total amount reserved for the funding of individual aid and collective actions. This significant aid to retirees is provided from the 000 social action allocation, as part of the CGSS action plan following the passage of cyclone Irma.

419: this is the number of individual aid request files "for aging well at home" made up by the manager of the Saint-Martin agency, Marie-Hélène SALOMON, and sent to the Service Sociale Vieillesse service during the month September 2018.

Of the 2018 allocation, 180 files will be paid in the form of relief in the amount of 1 euros to retirees from the general scheme, for a total of 000 euros.

Social action, a global mission for the most vulnerable

The CGSS conducts a social action policy in favor of insured persons and retirees to help people weakened by a health problem or loss of autonomy by developing actions to promote health, maintain employment or age well.

For this, the CGSS relies mainly on a team of professionals (social service, health transfers, retirement social action, and health and social action) mobilized in particular to reduce inequalities in access to care.
