The Simpson Bay Lagoon Authority (SLAC) wishes to inform boaters, motorists and the public that maintenance work will be carried out on the Simpson Bay Bridge during the night of October 22-26.
Motorists are advised to pay attention to traffic diversion signs indicating that the road leading to the Simpson Bay Bridge will be closed. Starting Sunday, October 22, the Simpson Bay Bridge will be closed to motorized/marine traffic from 1:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. From Monday October 23 to Thursday October 26, the bridge will also be closed to motorized/maritime traffic from 22:00 p.m. to 05:30 a.m. The bridge's opening hours will also be changed for a period of eight days beginning this Friday, October 20 and ending on Friday, October 27. The Simpson Bay Bridge will be open for outbound marine traffic from 08:30 a.m. to 16:00 p.m., and from 09:30 a.m. to 17:00 p.m. for inbound marine traffic.
