On Friday, October 9, at the end of the morning, the KPSM (Korps Politie Sint Maarten) organized a ceremony in memory of the police officers who died in recent years. On this occasion, NV GEBE donated a flamboyant which was planted in the green zone, near the Philipsburg police station.
In addition, a ceremony was also held in the premises of the police station of Philipsburg, with the aim of celebrating the police officers who worked in the various services of the police force of Sint Maarten, during the 25, 30, 35 and last 40 years.
A diploma was awarded to the police officers who have served all these years.
The Minister of Justice Anna Richardson and the Chief of Police of Sint Maarten, Karl John each delivered a speech which closed this ceremony placed under the sign of recognition and conviviality. _AF
