As announced, the Atrium resort in Simpson bay reopened on October 1st. The Sonesta Maho complex remains closed until October 29 (as already indicated a month ago).

Note that four other large complexes on the Dutch side are still closed since the passage of Irma: the Westin, the 2 establishments of the Diamonds resort group in Simpson bay and Pelikan as well as the third establishment of the Sonesta group, which was sold and destroyed. in view of becoming a Planet Holywood.

On the French side, the Beldmond group has postponed the reopening date of Samanna by one month, it is now set for December 1. On the other hand, the group maintains the reopening on November 1 of Cape Juluca in Anguilla. The Secrets hotel at Anse Marcel, which was to officially start last March, has also postponed its reopening from October 16 to November 13.
