Ministerial regulations, in effect since Monday, prohibit students and adults from strolling in the immediate vicinity of schools in the Cul-de-Sac school district between 6 a.m. and 18 p.m., Monday to Friday.

The Ministry of Justice also recalled that zero tolerance will be applied for violent attacks against students, parents, teachers and other people in the teaching world.

Fighting, bullying and / or possession of weapons by students or anyone found loitering in the school district will be held accountable for their actions.

The Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports (ECYS) will also work closely together to put in place additional measures to combat absenteeism.
